Bachelor in Technology Management and Marine Egineering (Marine Engineer)
Nick Akrami Nielsen is a Marine Engineer with extensive experience in offshore decommissioning and marine operations. He has worked as Lead and Senior Project Engineer on decommissioning projects for major operators and contractors including TotalEnergies, Allseas, Equinor, Shell, SBM Offshore, Exxon, Harbour Energy and TeeKay, primarily representing the decommissioning yard.
His experience spans fixed and floating installations such as jackets, platforms, FPSOs and semi-submersibles. Nick has supported projects from tendering through execution and close-out, with responsibility for project planning, engineering coordination, offshore surveys, and execution support, including management projects with budgets exceeding EUR 25 million and more than 100,000 manhours.
Nick has led offshore surveys covering HAZMAT, NORM, and mercury, and has developed and executed small and large operations with limited utilization of blacked-out installations, including ballast, electrical, jacking, and crane systems. He has also planned and executed complex marine operations such as grounding and refloating, towing, berthing, and mooring of ULCC-size vessels and semi-submersibles.
In 2024, he founded Enjoyneering ApS to provide hands-on project management and engineering services, giving clients direct access to senior-level expertise with a strong focus on execution, integrity, and practical solutions.

Founded in 2024, Enjoyneering provides project management consultancy and multidisciplinary engineering services within decommissioning, deconstruction, and ship recycling for the oil & gas and marine industry.
We support clients through all phases of a project — from early planning and engineering through offshore execution and final dismantling. Our team combines operational experience with strong technical capability, ensuring solutions that are safe, compliant, and achievable in real-world conditions.
With a strong focus on waste management, regulatory compliance, site operations, and risk control, we act as a trusted partner and client representative on complex and high-risk projects.
